Ways to Win: Eagles Soar for Rahm

There is more than one way to win a golf tournament, Ways to Win will break down how the winner did it each week. 

A bunched leaderboard on Sunday led to a thrilling finish by the young Jon Rahm. There are multiple ways to win on the PGA Tour, but this week Jon Rahm put on a ball striking clinic, particularly with the big stick. Playing a Torrey Pines with brutal rough, Rahm hit 11 of 14 fairways and averaged 305 yards off the tee on Sunday. From the Tour – JT’s Strokes Gained Clinic

One of the hardest things in golf is following up a great round with another great one. Apparently Justin Thomas didn’t get that memo on his way to becoming the 7th player to break 60 on the PGA Tour, setting (or matching) the 36, 54, and 72 hole scoring records this past weekend.

Justin Thomas not only became the youngest at 23 years old to shoot 59 on the PGA Tour, but did it sooner than anyone before him.
